MET Manta MIPS helmet with aerodynamics from the wind tunnel presented

MET present the new generation of the Manta helmet – the MET Manta MIPS. With aerodynamics tested in the wind tunnel, the helmet specialists from Italy want to make the Manta MIPS one of the fastest helmets on the road. In addition to improved aerodynamics, the focus is on fit, style and safety. Through the use of the MIPS-C2-system, the helmet is not only to absorb shocks, but also to divert rotational forces from the head. The helmet is available immediately in sizes S (52-56 cm), M (56-58 cm) and L (58-61 cm). Find all the details about the Manta MIPS here.

Aerodynamic Thanks to its lower, tubular profile at the rear, which MET developed with the help of special wind tunnel tests at the NEWTON laboratory in Milan, the Manta MIPS is even more aerodynamic than its predecessor, according to MET.

Fit  According to MET, the Manta MIPS should be very comfortable. The fit is derived from the award-winning MET Trenta 3K Carbon and also scores with a 360-degree circumferential headband, which should effectively prevent pressure points on the head.

Ventilation MET has designed the inner shape to channel the incoming air. MET’s signature NACA vent also works in synergy with the specially positioned air outlet, which is designed to ensure a constant airflow through the helmet without increasing drag.

Buckle The magnetic Fidlock® belt lock is designed to make closing and opening the chin strap particularly easy. Especially in the transition area, it can save triathletes precious time.

Safety MET takes the safety of cyclists very seriously: every single production batch of helmets is rigorously tested in the laboratory. To make the helmet even safer, the new MET Manta is equipped with the MIPS-C2 safety system. This means that it lies floating on the head and is thus intended, in the event of a fall, to effectively divert damaging rotational forces from the head.
