Wahoo update their ELEMNT range to include LEV integration; new look and price for the BOLT
With Wahoo’s latest firmware update for all ELEMNT GPS devices, it is now possible to connect them with your ebike – as long as it’s got an open LEV profile and ANT+ connectivity. In addition, the ELEMNT BOLT gets a new look and a reduced price. We’ve got all the details from Wahoo’s press release.
With the latest firmware update, available as of today, all ELEMNT computers are able to display ebike data. This includes the Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM, which we tested extensively over the past 10 months (click here for our in-depth review). The devices are able to receive and display data from selected ebikes that support the open LEV profile and ANT+ connectivity, which currently includes models from Giant and Specialized. After pairing with an ebike, ELEMNT computers with the firmware update are able to display the remaining range, battery life, the current support mode and the assistance percentage. The ELEMNT head unit also shows how much time you’ve spent in the different modes and calculates an estimated remaining range.
ELEMNT BOLT, the first GPS bike computer to give road cyclists an aerodynamic advantage will now also be available in a new stealth, black-on-black look. Along with the new look, Wahoo have also reduced the price of their ELEMNT BOLT GPS computers by € 20, now priced at € 219.99.
