With Vario-Geometry and a fresh design, the new brand Rondo presented their first creation at the “Berliner Fahrradschau”. The new Rondo Ruut is supposed to merge gravel and endurance-bike and presents the solution to the all-time quest for a perfect all-rounder. We didn’t miss the chance to get closer.

A new brand? Yes and no, since Rondo hides a few well-known faces of the bike industry in its workshop. Amongst the founders are the people from MTB-brand NS Bikes, who just released their first Dropbar-Bike, and the creative brains of Creme Cycles.

With the Ruut, Rondo wants to stir up the gravel bike market. Certainly the buckled top-tube and rear-end design is an eye-catcher straight away. This design is supposed to add extra comfort to your ride.

This Flip-Chip on the front end allows switching between geometry settings.

The Ruut also offers plenty of room for rubber. Up to 42mm on 700c-rims or 2,2″ on 650b’s, makes it possible to prepare for any situation. Loads of little fine touches reveal a great love for detail. This is apparent in the tastefully balanced paintwork on frame and fork, the bright shimmering hubs and the colour matching Rondo water bottle.
