Come and join us at GRAN FONDO HQ, watch the World Championships with us and get up close with the race bikes of tomorrow before our big group test is published.
On 27 September, we’re inviting 15 of you to GRAN FONDO HQ in Leonberg. First, we’ll head out for a ride together. Afterwards, it’s pizza, drinks and World Championships public viewing back at HQ. There’ll be coffee before, during and after, of course. And for all the coffee connoisseurs out there, our sister magazine DOWNTOWN have a little surprise in store.
We’re also right in the middle of preparing our big Race Bike Group Test, which means most of the test bikes are already here. In other words: check out the bikes, geek out with us and join the discussion about what really makes the next generation of race bikes better.
Two things. One great day:
- Ride together and cheer on the World Championships.
- Experience the latest race bikes and talk to us about the future of bikes.

One bike to rule them all!
We’re looking for the ultimate all-round race bike: the best blend of stiffness, aerodynamics and low weight, while still being comfortable enough for long days in the saddle. You’ll find the answer in our next group test, but you can already have your say.
Apply for the event, join us for the ride-out, World Championships viewing and refreshments, and tell us which bike wins your heart. Combining your feedback with our own test methods, we’ll crown the all-round world champion, the bike to rule them all.
A taste of Canada in Leonberg
Don’t worry: we won’t be riding 270 km at a 45 km/h average. Think coffee and cake instead of gels, chatting instead of lactate. Tobi and Bene will be your experienced guides, leading you at your pace along a route that remains secret for now. You’ll get the details after applying.
You can, of course, leave a change of clothes at HQ for the aftershow. Bringing something warm is a good idea too.
