With the Terreno Pro T50, Vittoria aim to offer the ultimate all-round gravel tire in their range. It’s designed to perform well across all surfaces while impressing with excellent efficiency. It also features a high proportion of renewable and recycled materials. According to the manufacturer, the gravel tires in the Pro series are made from 92% recycled and renewable materials, which is also reflected in the distinctive brown natural rubber look.
But how can a gravel tire deliver across such a wide range of terrain? As always, the key lies in the tread pattern. Vittoria use a V-shaped arrangement of their familiar hexagonal knob structure. In the central tread, the low-profile knobs are packed closely together for maximum efficiency. Moving towards the shoulders, the knobs become larger and more widely spaced, before transitioning into aggressive side knobs designed to improve cornering grip.
Sustainably Grippy: Vittoria Terreno Pro T50 in the 2026 Gravel Tire Group Test
It all sounds promising, but how does this all-rounder actually perform? On the scales, we’re off to a bad start. At 700 g, the Terreno Pro T50 is the heaviest gravel tire in the entire test field. Even its in-house rivals are around 35 g lighter. It’s hard to see why the significantly more aggressive T60 tips the scales at a lower weight. This extra weight is reflected in the efficiency scores. At 15.7 W of rolling resistance, the T50 sits roughly on par with the Terreno Pro T30, but overall around 0.7 W slower than the average. Compared to similarly versatile gravel tires like the Schwalbe G-One Overland Pro or the Specialized Terra TLR, it lags nearly 2 W behind.
Where the Terreno Pro T50 really shines is grip. The step up from the T30 is clear, offering noticeably more traction and control. It may not be quite as extreme as the T60, but overall the performance is very strong. The tire delivers reliable grip in virtually every corner and across all surfaces – it won’t leave you second-guessing your line choice. This confidence carries over into the handling. The Terreno Pro T50 sits firmly on the agile side, clearly more responsive than the T30 and even a touch more playful than the T60, all without ever feeling nervous or unpredictable.
Compliance, however, is fairly average, much like the other Vittoria tires in this test. The casing feels firmer than that of the competition. If you want to eke out a bit more comfort, it is worth running slightly lower pressures than usual. Puncture protection follows a familiar pattern for Vittoria’s gravel tires. Resistance to pinch flats is above average, while puncture resistance unfortunately lags behind.

Conclusion on the Vittoria Terreno Pro T50
The Vittoria Terreno Pro T50 delivers plenty of grip and a reduced environmental footprint, all wrapped up in a stylish brown natural rubber look. It is designed to shine on mixed terrain, with its agile handling standing out in particular. Unfortunately, there are compromises in comfort and, above all, in puncture resistance. All in all, it is a capable tire with clear strengths and weaknesses, but if you know what you are getting, it could be a very good fit.
