The Vittoria Terreno Pro T30 is aimed at riders looking for a fast gravel tire for hard-packed surfaces. Vittoria position it as a specialist for dry conditions. Like all gravel tires in the Pro series, it also stands out for its strong focus on renewable and recycled materials. According to Vittoria, each tire is made from 92% renewable and recycled materials, while matching traditionally manufactured competitors in every respect. The distinctive brown colour is an immediate giveaway, as the Pro version is not available in classic black.
So how have Vittoria achieved this focus on speed? The Terreno Pro T30 follows a similar principle to the fastest gravel tire in this group test: a wide, almost slick centre tread with more aggressive shoulder knobs to give you extra grip through the corners. In this case, the centre tread has what Vittoria describe as a fish scale pattern, with small interlocking hexagonal knobs.
Sustainable Construction, Sustained Speed? Vittoria Terreno Pro T30 in the 2026 Gravel Tire Group Test
It all sounds promising, but how does the tire actually perform in this group test? When it comes to weight, the Vittoria Terreno Pro T30 is surprisingly heavy. At 655 g, it is one of the heaviest gravel tires in the entire test field, sitting a full 85 g above the average. That’s not the best starting point for a tire designed with maximum speed in mind. The fact that the T30 is still the lightest Vittoria gravel tire in this test is neither here nor there.
The same impression carries over to rolling resistance. At 15.8 W of resistance, the T30 sits around 0.8 W above the average – that’s more than 5 W behind the fastest gravel tire in the test, the Schwalbe G-One RS Pro. With two tires on the bike, that adds up to a hefty 10 W difference, which you will definitely feel out on the trail.
Unfortunately, the Terreno Pro T30 cannot make up for this grip deficit. It performs well on tarmac and hardpack, feeling secure in all situations, but as soon as conditions become soft, wet or muddy, the tire quickly loses traction. Compared to other speed-focused gravel tires, it ends up towards the back of the pack here. Handling is a different story. On firm ground, the T30 benefits from its round profile and shoulder knobs, which provide a bit more support. The result is a very balanced ride that never feels sluggish or overly twitchy, which is arguably the tire’s biggest strength.
Compliance, on the other hand, falls slightly below average. It remains acceptable and is perfectly adequate for hardpack riding, but it is far from truly comfortable. Puncture protection is a bit of a mixed result. Resistance to pinch flats is well above average, finishing near the top of the leaderboard. While that might imply a robust construction, our puncture resistance testing tells another story. Like the other Vittoria gravel tires in our test, the T30 ranks below average here.

Conclusion on the Vittoria Terreno Pro T30
With the Terreno Pro T30, Vittoria are taking an important step towards greater sustainability. Using 92% renewable and recycled materials speaks for itself. Out on the trail, however, the tire fails to truly impress. Grip, rolling resistance and puncture protection all fall short of top-level performance. The only area where it stands out for positive reasons is the balanced handling. If you are after maximum sustainability paired with a distinctive look, this could be the right choice. If outright performance is your priority, you are better off looking elsewhere.
